What a week!
A whole week has gone by with not a peep from me here, it's been a big week! What happened? Hmm...
Well, for a start, scrutineering went okay for Coastal Challenge, Hal had one fused bulb but that was about all that was wrong. So all good. A little sick of bulbs fusing all the time, so went to Autobarn to look for some LED bulbs. They only had blue. Bummer. I didn't think they were going to be *really* blue, so I got them anyway, and picked up a set of amber ones while I was at it, for the indicators. Got home and put them on, and WOW the bulbs are blue. Like, REALLY blue. Oh well... Also, the indicators didn't work with the LED bulbs, I'm guessing not enough resistance to trigger off the relay. Bummer again!
Last day of May
Wow, I can't believe how quickly the end of May has come up! This year has been pretty full on, I guess, so many things have happened and it has definately been a roller coaster ride! A trip to Melbourne, two trips to Tasmania, a new house and the big move associated with it, a permanent position (and promotion, even though now I effectively take home less money) at work... I wonder what the rest of the year will bring!
I got a wheel alignment done on the Camry yesterday. I originally had it booked in to Quickfit at Ipswich, but upon arrival and after 40 minutes of waiting they come out and tell me that their machine isn't working, so too bad, go somewhere else. I thought that was a bit rude, especially considering they spent most of that time just doing other things and stuffing around, and trying to convince me that I needed my rear wheels aligned too (for more money, obviously). They weren't even friendly...
