I am Fook, and I like stuff. I'm Chinese, but I've never been to China, and I can't even speak Chinese. I've made several lame attempts to learn the language, but no, I still can't speak it... Ho hum :)
I live in Ipswich, which is a city about 30k's west of Brisbane, in Queensland. It's a nice little city, rather quiet, with a lot of nice people. It's also very hot in summer (as a guide, it hit 44C today), and rather cool (for Queensland - zero or just under) in winter. It never snows here though, just hails. Personally I think I'd prefer it to snow than to hail, but I guess we don't get much of a choice in these matters...
Among the things I like are driving cars, riding motorcycles, latin dancing (mainly Salsa), rock climbing, inline skating, ten-pin bowling, the list just goes on and on and on.
Apart from liking stuff, I also do stuff. At the moment I spend my weekdays making magic happen on computers, so that students at the university can do the things they need to do, and find the information they want. And hopefully when they finish, they'll go away thinking "what a great system the university has" and I'll be a happy camper.
I don't really have any pets, unless you count fish as pets. I don't really, because I think fish are more of like, a living decoration. A bit like a plant. They don't do much, and you can't really interact with them or pet them or anything. Just just swim around. I'd like to get a dog, I like dogs a lot. Maybe one day.
Here are my two favourite toys at the moment:
My 2004 Suzuki SV650
The Corolla is very far from what it was when it came out of the factory in 1975 - have a look at the link above for more details.
The SV650 has an Ixil slip on pipe, a K&N air filter, 2005 OEM screen, Oggy Knobs, Scottoiler, custom radiator guard, CarbonSport pickup spools and a Ventura rack. It also has a Suzuki lowered seat (I have short legs), and a Triboseat cover for the pillion seat.
